The Villa

A house built for slow mornings

and evenings that end on the terrace.

What draws all guests immediately to Casa Dado is its setting: sweeping ocean and sunset views from virtually every room and terrace, with private sea access straight from the property. The villa has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve many of its traditional Sardinian accents, paired with modern interiors and finishes.

Built directly into the hillside across several levels, the house blends indoor and outdoor living almost seamlessly. As you move through it, one lounge area opens onto the next, each offering its own perspective on the sea. Architecturally, Casa Dado is something of a rarity in this part of southern Sardinia: a clean, cubist form that gave the house its name — dado is Italian for "dice."

The villa sits within Torre delle Stelle, a quiet, authentic seaside town where a small year-round local community lives alongside visitors and those who have made it their part-time home. Casa Dado sleeps up to seven guests across three and a half bedrooms, with five separate terraces offering plenty of space to settle in, spread out, and enjoy the day.

How To Get To The Villa

Torre delle Stelle is a quiet residential village on Sardinia's southeastern coast, still well off the main tourist trail. Two beaches — Genn'e Mari and Cann'e Sisa — sit within easy reach, both known for calm, clear water, with the scenic SP17 coastal road linking the village down to Villasimius and up to Cagliari.

Set along a secluded, coastal stretch between Villasimius and Cagliari facing west with sea views from every angle, Casa Dado is close to the region's best coves, beach clubs, and seafood restaurants — with a car recommended for exploring the coastline and getting around.

The villa is 40 km from Cagliari Airport (~45 min drive). Car rental and taxi services incl. Uber are available at the airport.

The people behind Casa Dado

Ciao, we're Magdalena & Gert from Vienna, Austria — Casa Dado is our second renovation project in the area, on a stretch of Sardinian coast we'd already fallen for after years of summer holidays here.

Like a lot of people after Covid (especially those of us on a corporate treadmill), we realized what we actually wanted was a slower, quieter pace of life — more Vitamin D, more time outdoors. Torre delle Stelle gave us exactly that. We received the keys to the property in summer 2025, celebrated with a big 30th birthday bash hosting 60 of our closest friends, and then kicked off the renovation works in summer 2026. With the best local crew we could find, we poured ourselves into this house, hoping to give our guests that same feeling we cherish so dearly: permission to slow down and a certain peace of mind.

We spend weeks, sometimes months, living in this (luckily) still unknown gem of a town ourselves, and would love to make your Sardinian escape as relaxing as possible.
We're just a message away!
